Abstract

The paper presents a crash course in modern cryptography wherein the properties of cryptographic protocols are formally proved. Also discussed are the wonders of the digital envelope like probabilistic encryption, computational indistinguishability, zero knowledge proofs, secret sharing and secure circuit evaluation.
